Leonardo Ralphi Gomes de Souza, a 38-year-old production engineer born in Barra de São Francisco, took advantage of his vacation in Espírito Santo to visit Petrocity Ferrovias S.A.‘s headquarters in Vitória. On Thursday (19), he was welcomed by the company’s president, José Roberto Barbosa da Silva, to learn more about their transformative projects.
“I’ve been closely following the news, especially through Tribuna Norte-Leste, about this revolution taking place in northern Espírito Santo. Although I work far from home, I keep up with news from my hometown and feel excited about the future that is unfolding,” said Ralphi.
Son of retired Caixa manager Gilberto Severino, Ralphi graduated in Production Engineering 13 years ago. After working for ornamental stone companies in his hometown and across the state, he currently works for Vale in northern Brazil, specializing in port and railway operations. His career has taken him to several countries, where he has contributed to the development of logistics hubs.
“What I saw today left me very impressed. Petrocity knows exactly where it’s heading and has everything well-aligned. The future of Barra de São Francisco, the northern region, and Espírito Santo, with these projects for both the railway network and the port, is very promising,” Ralphi commented.
